About

David Rudlin is an urbanist and master planner. Over more than three decades he has led the design of new neighbourhoods and the regeneration of towns and cities across the UK, beginning with involvement in the rebuilding of Hulme in Manchester and going on to projects including the New England Quarter in Brighton, Temple Quay in Bristol and Trent Basin in Nottingham.

He is a planner by training, past Chair of the Academy of Urbanism, Visiting Professor at Manchester School of Architecture and the author of four books on cities and how they are made.
